Our Software Defined Vehicle IL (SDV IL) – Energy and Mobility Application Group develops a broad range of Web and Mobile based connected vehicle systems, including autonomous fleet management, mobility services, electric vehicle digital user experience, as well as next generation of OnStar online services for consumers and Cars.

SDV – ‘Software Defined Vehicle’ is a new group that is developing vehicle intelligence platform whose features and functions are primarily enabled through software. This is a significant part of the ongoing transformation of vehicles from being mainly hardware-based to a software-centric electronic device on wheels. The SDV teams are supporting the definition, design, and development of continuously improving mobility service.

We're looking for a Senior Mobile Software Engineer  to join the group!

What will you do?

Developing a mobile application that will provide the electric vehicle driver the possibility almost full control on his vehicle, ability view and be in touch with all vehicle parts status in addition the driver be able to see if his destination is within driving range reach, if a certain destination is out of reach. The application provides a suggested resolution, and illuminate the common fears of electric vehicle, to get stuck without the battery.

The app itself has 2 views one the mobile application and another projected on the vehicle infotainment (Tech. CarPlay/Android Auto).

Additional Job Description

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience
• Over 3 yeas of experience in Mobile - Must
• User and customer centric approach.
• Experience with global large scale production releases with multiple development
• Over 1 years’ experience with Web apps using JS, CSS, HTML, Typescript - advantage
• Experience in one of or similar frameworks React/Angular/React-Native - advantage
• Experience in server and client software development - advantage.
• Experience with iOS development – advantage
• Experience with configuring production environment for web app on Linux – advantage
• Excellent communication skills
