A Day in the Life

In this role, you will join a world-class team of engineers within the Surgical Operating unit responsible for developing medical devices that focus on lung cancer diagnosis.

We are a small Algo team, and you will be a key person. You’ll benefit from never-ending intellectual challenges as we redefine AI for real-time medical interventional procedures. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Build scalable end-to-end product
• Design, develop, and optimize our SW platform
• Actively contribute to our product’s algorithmic development
• Work alongside SW and Algorithm Developers to leverage state-of-the-art algorithms from the fields of Machine Learning, Computer Vision, and Image Processing
• Automation of processes (e.g., data flow)
• Creation of tools (for research, annotation, etc.)
• Integration with other teams
• Maintain high coding standards in our repository
• Dive into new and exciting technologies and programming languages 
  
  

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• B.Sc. in Computer Science/Software Engineering/EE/other relevant field or equivalent work experience - Must
• 5+ years of R&D experience in Python
• Excellent coding skills
• Excellent algorithmic thinking skills
• Pytorch and OpenCV – Advantage
• C++ - Big advantage
• C# - Advantage
• MSc. or PhD in Computer Science/Software Engineering/EE/other relevant field - Advantage
• Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Enthusiastic problem solver
• Eager to learn and work with new environments and technologies
• Self-sufficient, able to independently learn and drive tasks end-to-end
