ADAMA’s Portfolio & Innovation (P&I) Division is seeking a PMO to lead and manage the implementation of new management and information systems that support key business functions. This role involves working closely with internal teams and external vendors to manage end to end project including : define business requirements, oversee project implementation, and ensure successful adoption across the division.
Key Responsibilities
Project & System Implementation Management
- Lead the full lifecycle of new management and information system projects, from initiation to implementation.
- Work closely with business units to analyze needs, define system requirements, and translate them into functional specifications.
- Collaborate with IT teams and external vendors to ensure system development aligns with business needs.
- Create and monitor project timelines, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met.
- Manage system implementation, training, and change management for end users.
- Serve as the system administrator, ensuring smooth operation, ongoing support, and optimization.
- Ensure clear and effective communication of project status, risks, and key updates.
Process Improvement & Performance Tracking
- Create dashboard & reports for P&I management on different business aspects, including financial elements.
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes and implement best practices. Support the development of project management methodologies, including governance, risk assessments, and execution frameworks.
Requirements
- BSc. in Industrial Engineering (or related field)
- 2-3 years of experience as a PMO or project manager in a complex global organization.
- Experience managing IT system projects, including requirement gathering and implementation.
- Strong IT orientation and familiarity with project management tools.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work effectively in a matrix structure.
- Proactive mindset, able to navigate ambiguity and drive solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Fluent English – must be able to lead discussions and correspond professionally.
