Senior Java Backend Developer with AI & ML Expertise

About the Role:

• Lead the design and development of complex backend architecture
• Modernize monolithic systems into scalable microservices
• Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable RESTful APIs using Spring Boot
• Work with RabbitMQ and Event-Driven Architecture for service-to-service communication
• Optimize system performance and response times in distributed environments
• Integrate advanced technologies including AI, ML, and LLMs to enhance automation and business logic
• Utilize tools like Swagger, Postman, and Drools Rule Engine
• Write and maintain Unit & Integration Tests (JUnit, TestContainers, Mocking Frameworks)
• Solve complex technical challenges, perform code reviews, and provide technical mentorship in Agile teams

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Java backend development
• Proven experience with Spring Boot and RESTful APIs
• Strong expertise in RabbitMQ/Kafka and event-driven infrastructures
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server, including Stored Procedures and performance tuning
• Deep understanding of API Security (OAuth2, JWT, CORS, API Gateway)
• Familiarity with API documentation tools such as Swagger
• Experience in decomposing monoliths into Microservices
• Solid understanding of distributed system topology – latency, bottlenecks, communication between servers
• Practical experience in implementing AI/ML models in software solutions – a major advantage
• B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent recognized certification
• Ability to work independently under pressure and collaborate effectively with others
