What You´ll Do
- Develop and execute category plans that align with overall business objectives and market trends.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for growth and innovation within the category.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, and supply chain to drive category performance.
- Manage relationships with key suppliers and negotiate favorable terms to optimize product assortment.
- Monitor category performance metrics and KPIs to track progress and make data-driven decisions.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to anticipate market changes.
- constantly improving the fundamentals of sales - availability, building an annual POS work plan in the various trade channels, visibility monitoring, handling all elements that support the product at the point of sale.
- Developing working relations with relevant functions in customers headquarters in the relevant market (planogram department, merchandising department, etc.)
- Building annual plans and managing Gantts for launching new products, creating internal and external collaborations to increase sales.
- Professional support of the company's sales team and distributors sales team with an emphasis on the categories in which the company operates.
- This is a field-based position, requiring 30-50% travel, and includes a company car.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Excellent proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience in category management, sales, trade marketing, or similar roles within the FMCG industry.
- Master’s degree (MBA) is a strong advantage.
- Strong analytical abilities with expertise in data analysis tools and market research methods.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven success in driving category growth and consistently achieving business objectives.
