The opportunity

As a part of Teva's Pivot to Growth Strategy, this is an opportune moment for Teva to fully invest in enhancing its internal innovation process, to achieve excellence across all areas of the value chain. The Open Innovation Platform Leader plays a crucial role in building and managing the process of collaborating with external innovators to bring new ideas, technologies, and solutions into the organization. This position requires a strategic thinker, excellent communicator, and effective collaborator to drive the company's innovation efforts.

How You’ll Spend Your Day

• Develop and implement the strategy for the open innovation platform, aligning its goals with the company's overall innovation strategy and business objectives.
• Foster relationships with startups, academic institutions, research organizations, and other external partners to bring innovative ideas, technologies, and solutions into the organization.
• Oversee the platform’s operations, ensuring smooth submissions, evaluations, and collaborations from external innovators.
• Scout for emerging technologies, trends, and startups, evaluating the feasibility, market potential, and impact of these innovations.
• Work with internal teams to assess and integrate external ideas and technologies into the company.
• Build strong relationships with internal teams such as R&D, marketing, and business development to ensure smooth integration of open innovation efforts.
• Communicate the progress, outcomes, and successes of open innovation projects to key stakeholders and leadership.
• Facilitate workshops, events, and ideation sessions to stimulate internal and external collaboration.
• Promote a culture of open innovation within the organization by sharing insights, learnings, and results from external collaborations.
• Contribute to building an ecosystem that fosters continuous innovation and collaboration.
  
  

Your Experience And Qualifications

• Proven experience in open innovation management, external collaboration or technology consulting space
• Proven experience in technology assessment and scouting and execution of technology based solutions for clients.
• Proven track record and expertise in biotech/Pharma/healthcare space
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced scientific degree highly preferred.
• Knowledge of emerging technologies and market trends in the biotech and high-tech industry.
• Strong strategic thinking and planning skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Experience in building and managing relationships with external partners.
• Ability to evaluate the feasibility and impact of innovative solutions.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
