About the Role:

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to take full ownership of our day-to-day financial operations. As the primary person responsible for our bookkeeping, you will ensure that all financial records are accurate, up-to-date, and organized. This is an essential role in helping us stay on top of our finances and make informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including recording income and expenses
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements
• Handle accounts payable and receivable
• Process invoices and payments on time
• Prepare monthly financial summaries and cash flow overviews
• Assist with payroll and employee reimbursements when needed
• Ensure all financial data is correctly categorized and compliant
• Organize and maintain digital financial records for easy access
• Collaborate with the accountant during tax season or for financial reporting

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in bookkeeping or small business accounting
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities
• Good understanding of bookkeeping practices and financial principles
• Experience with payroll
• Degree or certification in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or related field
