AI Research Engineer

Position Overview:

We're looking for a Research Engineer to join a fast-paced AI team working at the intersection of cutting-edge research and real-world implementation. This role blends hands-on machine learning development with participation in exploratory research efforts, focusing on building robust systems and tools that enable rapid iteration and impactful innovation.

Ideal candidates are curious, self-driven, and passionate about applied AI. They enjoy diving into complex, open-ended problems and have the technical depth to turn new ideas into scalable, working solutions.

In this role, you will:

• Design and build infrastructure and tools to accelerate AI research and experimentation
• Contribute to shaping technical directions of research initiatives
• Develop robust evaluation pipelines and metrics to validate models and new techniques
• Translate research concepts into production-ready components and systems

What we're looking for:

• 4+ years of experience in AI/ML research or machine learning engineering
• Strong proficiency in Python and solid software engineering practices
• Experience with ML frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Familiarity with foundation models and techniques such as prompt engineering
• Proven ability to work through ambiguity and turn ideas into working prototypes
• Passion for applied AI and building things that work
• Advantage: M.Sc. or higher in a relevant field (Machine Learning, Computer Science, etc.)
