Job Overview

In collaboration with the perioperative registered nurse, the surgical technician will function as a member of the team to organize and administer individualized age-specific care to patients.

Qualifications

Required:

• Completion or Graduate from an accredited Technical program
  
  

Preferred

Certifications And Licenses Required (if Applicable)

• Current BLS required (American Heart Association
• Certified Surgical Technician
• Successful completion of all Orientation and Departmental Programs with documentation

Essential Functions

• Maintain an environment that facilitates safe patient outcomes.
• Ensure patient s physiologic responses to surgery are as expected in the surgical suite and across the perioperative.
• In collaboration with the perioperative registered nurse, the surgical technician will function as a member of the team to organize and administer individualized age-specific care to patients.
