About the position:

• Lead the design and development of complex features and systems that address real-world application security challenges.
• Set the technical vision and drive architectural decisions to ensure scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Work hands-on and write high-quality code, review pull requests, and guide the team in best practices.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and other stakeholders to align engineering efforts with business goals.
• Mentor and support a team of talented engineers, fostering growth, collaboration, and a culture of excellence.
• Evaluate and introduce new technologies, tools, and methodologies that improve our platform and developer experience.
• Drive initiatives that scale our engineering processes and improve team velocity and quality.

About You:

• Technical Expertise & Vision: With 7+ years of hands-on experience in software development, including proficiency in object-oriented programming languages, you’re adept at designing and building complex systems from scratch. You have a deep understanding of system architecture, scalability, and reliability and a strong track record of driving end-to-end execution of large and complex projects.
• Independent Contribution & Ownership: You have experience delivering impactful features and solutions independently, taking ownership of initiatives from concept to deployment while ensuring high-quality execution.
• Leadership DNA: You have 3+ years of experience in a leadership role OR have served as a technical focal point for major projects, providing guidance to engineers while fostering collaboration and innovation. You mentor, support, and inspire team members to grow and succeed.
• Cloud & DevOps Proficiency: Hands-on experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP), modern software architectures (microservices, event-driven systems), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and debugging skills, with experience in high-scale systems. You approach challenges with a strategic mindset and drive solutions that improve performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborative by Nature: You thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments, bringing out the best in yourself and others as part of a talented team.
• Academic Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
