Algorithm Developer

Our Algorithm Team, working in the field of robotics and autonomy, is looking for an algorithm developer to join us. The ideal candidate will have experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Design and development of high-level control for autonomous vehicle systems.
• Global and local path planning for autonomous ground and aerial vehicles in dynamic environments.
• Algorithm development for mission-planning and decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement algorithmic concepts, evaluate new cutting-edge technologies in the field and successfully integrate them into our products.
• Collaborate closely with the system engineering and software teams in the design, development, and integration process to ensure optimal implementation in vehicle systems.

Experience Requirements (At least 1 year in one or more of the following areas):

• Implementation and integration of high-level control on various platforms.
• Implementation and integration of global and/or local path planning for autonomous vehicles.
• Development of algorithms for mission planning and decision-making.

Education and Other Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering / Electronics Engineering / Software Engineering.
• Master’s or Doctoral degree - Advantage.
• In-depth knowledge in at least one of the following areas: High-level control, mid-level control, HTN, decision-making, motion planning.
• Knowledge and experience in some of the following areas: Parallel Computing, Machine Learning, Reinforcement Learning, High-level Controllers.
• Development Tools: PyTorch/Python, Matlab, Simulink, Linux environment (advantage).
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and interpersonal skills.

The position is based at IAI, close to Ben Gurion Airport.
