Job Description

Job summary: (هدف وظیفه)

Deputy Branchless Banking Manager is responsible for supporting, maintaining and providing technical expertise in New Kabul Bank completed, running and future projects in regards to Branchless banking. The Deputy Branchless Banking Manager should research and recommend new solution through which NKB can deliver services through a variety of channel to mass consumer segments. Services such as ATM, POS, Mobile banking, SMS banking, utility payment and any other services which differs from conventional banking is the responsibility of Branchless Banking Manager.

The Deputy General Manager - Branchless Banking reports to his/her General Manager and CIO / Deputy CIO.

Job Description: (شرح وظیفه)

• Responsible for the overall functioning of Branchless Banking infrastructure.
• Provide technical support and liaison with operation department in extending POS, HSMs, ATM machines, ATM controller and other branchless banking services.
• Performing daily status health check and report on all HSMs, ATM machines, ATM controller and communicating matters to relevant departments.
• Responsible for implementing Change management related to hardware and software changes in ATM Software‘s and other branchless banking services.
• Responsible for taking ATM Infrastructure backups and recovery.
• Establishes, maintains and patching for the ATM infrastructure used in the New Kabul Bank.
• Liaison with Operation Department in alternate service delivery initiative, issues etc.
• Installation of new ATMs and POS machines as needed.
• Analyzes and resolves problems associated with ATM Infrastructure related Software‘s, ATM Switch and other ATM related services.
• Monitors and ATM system logs and detect and troubleshoot problems.
• Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information on the status of ATM technical section and providing on time report to the IT department.
• Reporting of the Branchless Banking status to the IT department and other concern departments.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed and instructed by Information technology department head within ATM section.
• Responsive of the recent developments in the alternate delivery of banking services.
• Responsible for interacting with Support Vendors for technical assistance.
• Prepare, conduct and Arrange in house capacity building training for staff members for system-related trainings by involving senior staff
• Any other task assigned by immediate supervisor, CIO or DCIO from time to time.
• Develop, Implement and timely review ATM related policies and suggest changes to System General Manager according to current technological challenges and threats.
• Physical checkup of all the ATM infrastructure in server room and on call availability 24/7 and ensures 100% ATM‘s uptime and work as a team
  
  

Job Requirements

EDUCATION (تحصیلات): Minimum Bachelor Degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology or Information system.

EXPERIENCE (تجارب): Minimum 1 year of work experience in ATM, debit card, payment industry. Specific knowledge of deposit processing, ATM economic models, and debit card processing, and settlement knowledge is also required.

SKILLS (مهارت): Ability to work with confidential data and technical knowledge of archiving backup and restore of transaction logs.
