Software Engineer

A company developing cutting-edge algorithms for real-time facial, body, and object recognition in large crowds — supporting use cases in public safety, finance, insurance, and more.

In January 2025, the company was acquired. The company has branches worldwide and serves hundreds of clients.

About the role:

You’ll be working with advanced technologies, developing in Node.js, React, and TypeScript.

Located in Holon, with a hybrid model of two work-from-home days per week.

Requirements-

● Proven experience of at least 3 years in NodeJS, React, TypeScript

● Experience with server-side development in Node.js within a microservices architecture.

● Proven experience with PostgreSQL, and Redis.

● Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.

● Experience with message brokers and data/stream processing (Kafka, RabbitMQ, MQTT)

● Experience working in Docker and K8S environments

● Take full end-to-end ownership of complex features for Oosto's flagship products.

● Develop and maintain components for our products, backend and UI features.

● Research and propose new methodologies to improve the efficiency and quality of the platform.

● Design, build, and maintain web applications on a microservices platform.

● Collaborate with teammates, Product Managers, and other contributors.

● Work with a variety of programming languages, frameworks, and cutting-edge technologies.

● Develop a real-time, high-load and modular data pipeline.
