Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled and hands-on NPI Engineer to lead the transition of new products from development to mass production. Based in our Petach Tikva office, this role is critical to the success of our New Product Introduction (NPI) process for both electronic and mechanical assemblies.

The ideal candidate is an experienced mechanical or electrical engineer with a proven track record in taking products from concept through prototyping, validation, and full production ramp-up. This is a cross-functional role, interfacing with R&D, operations, quality, and external contractors in a global working environment.

As part of a global company, the ability to communicate fluently and professionally in English—both written and verbal—is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and drive the NPI process from prototype to production, ensuring readiness in terms of documentation, supply chain, and manufacturability.
• Prepare and manage complete product documentation including BOMs, mechanical drawings, assembly instructions, and test procedures.
• Work closely with R&D to implement Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Test (DFT) principles.
• Coordinate with local and international suppliers and subcontractors, tracking progress and ensuring quality and delivery schedules are met.
• Lead engineering change management throughout the product lifecycle.
• Provide ongoing production support, troubleshoot issues, and identify areas for process or product improvement.
• Ensure alignment with project timelines and communicate progress and risks to all stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering – mandatory.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in electronics or electromechanical product development and manufacturing.
• Proven experience in leading product transfer to production.
• Strong understanding of PCBs, PCBA processes, and manufacturing methods.
• Skilled in creating mechanical drawings, technical documentation, and detailed BOM structures.
• Familiar with ERP systems and configuration management.
• Fluency in professional English – written and verbal communication skills at a high level are mandatory for working in a global environment.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Experience in motion control or industrial automation – advantage.
