Computer Vision Researcher (AI/CV/LLM Focus)

Location: Hybrid (Israel-based preferred)

Job Type: Part-Time / Flexible (with potential for full-time)

Argu is reimagining how the world interacts with video. We’re looking for a curious, driven Computer Vision Researcher to join our core R&D efforts. This role blends hands-on research with deep-tech product development — combining machine vision, generative AI, and LLMs.

Perfect for advanced students (M.Sc. or Ph.D.) or AI researchers eager to dive into real-world applications and make an impact fast.

·        Research and prototype new ways to connect vision models with LLMs.

·        Experiment with vision-language models, embeddings, and generative CV.

·        Run benchmarks and test ideas in real-world environments, on real-world data.

·        Collaborate with our founding tech team to take ideas from paper to product.

·        Contribute to IP, publications, and internal innovation.

·        Background in computer vision or applied machine learning.

·        Hands-on experience with algorithms and coding.

·        Curiosity and passion — you love exploring, building, and learning, even on your free time.

·        Academic background in CS/EE/Math/related – M.Sc. or Ph.D. students preferred.

·        Bonus: Experience with NVIDIA Jetson, edge-AI, or real-world CV systems.

·        Bonus: Backend development skills

·        Vision-Language Models (CLIP, BLIP, LLaVA, etc.)

·        Embedding models & semantic search

·        Prompt-to-detect, zero/few-shot detection

·        Scene understanding, re-identification, multi-camera setups

·        Detection under challenging conditions (low-light, thermal, etc.)
