About Us

The Jesselson Family Office is an Israeli/US single-family office overseeing diverse investments (real estate, private equity, capital markets, venture capital, and private companies), estate planning, and financial management.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Finance to lead and optimize the financial operations of our family office. This role requires a blend of high-level financial oversight and hands-on execution, ensuring the office operates with financial excellence, compliance, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong vision for financial strategy, an ownership mentality, and meticulous attention to detail. This position involves financial leadership, multi-entity financial reporting, tax compliance, and investment analysis across international jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Leadership & Strategy: Develop and execute financial strategies that enhance operational efficiency, optimize cash flow, and support the long-term investment goals of the family office.

Financial Reporting & Accounting: Oversee all financial reporting, ensuring compliance with Israeli GAAP and US GAAP/IFRS as needed. Manage reconciliations, multi-entity consolidations, and timely financial statement preparation.

Tax & Compliance: Ensure full compliance with Israeli & US tax regulations (both for the individual family members and the entities), manage cross-border reporting, and coordinate with external tax advisors and auditors to optimize tax efficiency.

Budgeting, Forecasting & Cash Flow Management: Lead financial planning processes, develop forward-looking financial models, oversee banking relationships, and ensure optimal liquidity management.

Financial Controls & Risk Management: Strengthen internal controls, implement best practices in financial governance, and proactively identify and mitigate financial risks.

Investment & Asset Management Oversight: Partner with investment teams to track and report on investment performance, conduct financial due diligence, and support decision-making for new investments.

Technology & Process Optimization: Leverage financial technology to improve reporting efficiency and workflow automation, ensuring seamless financial operations.

Who You Are

• CPA (Israel) required; familiarity with US tax/reporting is a strong plus.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in audit and financial/tax reporting. Big-4 experience is a strong plus. Experience in both individual and corporate reporting is a strong plus.    
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in an operational financial leadership role, preferably in investment firms, family offices, or multi-entity organizations.
• Strong strategic mindset with the ability to balance high-level oversight and hands-on execution.
• Proven experience in multi-entity financial management, compliance, and investment analysis.
• Advanced proficiency in financial reporting tools and Excel.
• Fluent in Hebrew & English (written and spoken).
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
