Head of Applied physics

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct research and experiments to apply physics theories in practical applications.
• Develop, test and analyse new materials, technologies and devices.
• Utilize computational tools for data analysis and simulations.
• Design and improve of the implanted sensors.
• Work with engineers, scientists, and technicians to integrate physics-based solutions into products or processes.
• Prepare technical reports, publications, and patent applications.
• Ensure compliance with medical industry regulations and safety standards.

Requirements:

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Applied Physics/ Physics
• 7+ years of research and industry proven experience in applied physics applications

Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in computational modelling (e.g., Python, MATLAB, C++).
• Highly experienced with semiconductor physics
• Extensive experience in the field of ultrasound: theory, design and applications
• Highly experienced with scientific instrumentation, experimental techniques, and data analysis. High hands-on capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and in interdisciplinary teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Industry experience in medical devices development
