Role Overview

We’re seeking an experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead and manage our team of blockchain engineers and technical experts. This is a pivotal leadership role that will shape the technological vision, strategy, and execution. The ideal candidate will be based in Tel Aviv and will work in a hybrid capacity, collaborating with our globally distributed team while fostering innovation and growth within the local office.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:

Define and drive the overall technology strategy to align with business goals and the long-term vision of our company.

Team Management: Lead, mentor, and scale a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.

Technical Innovation: Oversee the architecture and development of cutting-edge blockchain solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.

Product Development: Collaborate with product teams to deliver impactful web3 infrastructure and API solutions.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including business development and operations, to align technology initiatives with company goals.

Operational Excellence: Establish and oversee technical processes, coding standards, and best practices to ensure efficient and high-quality product delivery.

Stakeholder Communication: Represent the company’s technical vision to stakeholders, including investors, partners, and clients.

Required Qualifications

Experience: 7+ years in software engineering or blockchain development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

Blockchain Expertise: Strong knowledge of blockchain protocols, web3 technologies, and API infrastructure.

Leadership: Proven track record of managing and scaling technical teams in a startup or fast-paced environment.

Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with programming languages such as Go, Solidity, Python, or similar. Experience with cloud platforms and DevOps practices is a plus.

Strategic Thinking: Ability to balance short-term objectives with long-term vision, focusing on innovation and business growth.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Location: Based in Tel Aviv, Israel, with the ability to work in a hybrid capacity.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience contributing to open-source projects in the blockchain or web3 ecosystem.

Familiarity with Lava Network or similar blockchain infrastructure projects.

Strong understanding of security protocols and best practices in blockchain development.
