Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in Beer-Sheva seeks for a talented, motivated and skilled candidate to a position of Research and Teaching Laboratory Engineer
This is a multidisciplinary and versatile position, which combines the ongoing management of two research laboratories and several teaching laboratories.
In the field of research laboratories:
- Technical and managing assistance to the professors who head each of the laboratories
- Active participation in the research
- Responsibility for the logistics of laboratories, including research equipment
- Training of graduate students who work in the laboratories as research assistants
In the field of teaching laboratories, my functions include:
- Responsibility for the equipment and logistics of laboratories
- Preparation of experimental setups, and training of students
Job requirements:
- Advanced degree (preferably a PhD) in engineering sciences or natural sciences: materials, chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering, biophysics, or a related field.
- Research experience in a field interfacing materials - chemistry - biology
- Teaching experience - an advantage
- High level of technical English
