Role Overview
Career Development Manager The Career Development Consultant plays a crucial role in ensuring that Moshal scholars successfully transition into the job market, securing meaningful and well-compensated positions in their field of study. This role involves direct engagement with students, employers, and alumni to create opportunities, foster career growth, and strengthen the Moshal Program’s professional network.
Key Responsibilities
Personalized Student Support: Provide individual 1 on 1 career guidance and mentoring to students in their second to fourth year of studies. Workshops & Training: Design, develop, and deliver career development workshops to equip students with essential job market skills. Mentorship Programs: Establish and manage mentorship initiatives connecting students and alumni with industry professionals. Employer Relations & Partnerships: Build and maintain relationships with employers (primarily high tech), creating job and internship opportunities for Moshal students and graduates. Event Management: Plan and execute professional networking events, career fairs, and industry engagement activities. Alumni Community Engagement: Maintain strong connections with Moshal graduates, fostering their involvement as mentors and career ambassadors. Strategic Career Development Planning: Contribute to the annual planning and execution of career development programs and initiatives. Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with a dedicated and creative professional team committed to making a meaningful impact.
Requirements
• Proven experience of 5+ years in recruitment within and human resources, particularly within the tech industry.
• A genuine connection to making a social impact, passion and dedication to empowering students through higher education.
• Experience in career coaching, personal guidance, and leading transformative processes.
• Expertise in developing and facilitating professional workshops related to career development.
• Strong initiative, relationship-building skills, and the ability to lead complex projects.
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a dynamic, multi-tasking environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Hebrew and English.
• Strategic thinking and creativity – ability to develop new programs, drive impactful initiatives, and integrate advanced career development tools.
• Experience in planning and executing professional events and networking opportunities – a significant advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree required; a Master’s degree is an advantage.
