Career Development Specialist

Elevation is looking for a Career Development Specialist to help our students and alumni transition into their next career. Your role as a Career Development Specialist will be leading the career aspects of our alumni and participants, in various areas, such as sourcing for the best-fit positions, conducting career workshops and building industry relationships as part of Elevation's Career Team. You will be working closely with the Program Managers and Ops Teams.

This role is one of the most rewarding roles in the company as you will play a crucial part in leading change in people’s lives by acquiring new skills.

Responsibilities:

• Create, maintain, and oversee the recruitment and placement processes of our graduates and alumni.
• Proactively expand recruitment sources, including attending job fairs, leveraging job boards and social media platforms, and continually searching for new and innovative recruitment approaches.
• Conduct workshops to help participants expand their horizons and change their mindset regarding job searching. Provide guidance and support to participants throughout the recruitment and placement process. Monitor placements outcomes.
• Develop and maintain industry relations and partnerships to open doors and create opportunities.
• Maintain close interaction with our graduates and alumni, and support them through the recruitment process, while ensuring they have a positive experience.
• Be the job-related POC for the participants during and after the programs and academies.

Requirements:

• 2+ years managing recruitment processes as a Talent Acquisition in the Tech industry, employment agency background is an advantage. 
• Experience conducting HR interviews and making referral calls.
• Experience in job searching via social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.).
• A people person who loves engaging with new people and collaborating with them.
• A Resourceful person who is not afraid to take initiative and ownership of everything they do while being independent. 
• A can-do mindset and a hands-on approach.
• A Fast learner, Flexible, and service-oriented with the ability to rethink and optimize work processes. 
• Data-driven with prioritizing skills and the ability to successfully perform in a fast-paced environment. 
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, in English and Hebrew.
