Full Stack Lead

Nexite is a pioneering startup transforming the retail landscape by digitizing the physical world. Through our innovative platform and battery-less BLE tags, we turn passive items into smart data communicators—bridging the gap between the physical and digital realms of retail. Our mission is to unlock real-time analytics, elevate the customer experience, and drive data-led decision-making in-store.

We’re looking for an experienced Full Stack Lead to join our dynamic R&D team. This role is ideal for hands-on team leads or senior software engineers ready to take their first step into a leadership position.

You’ll be responsible for building scalable systems, leading projects end to end, and mentoring developers in a fast-paced, innovative startup environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a small but impactful team of software engineers through planning, implementation, and delivery of complex features and services.
• Design and architect robust backend systems and APIs using Go and Python, ensuring performance, scalability, and security.
• Develop dynamic front-end interfaces using Angular, ensuring responsiveness and seamless UX.
• Drive technical innovation by introducing best practices, processes, and modern development tools.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Data, Platform, and Design teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Lead code reviews, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and continuously improve code quality and team productivity.
• Stay up to date with evolving technologies and industry trends.
  
  

• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience, with strong backend expertise in Go or Python or frontend experience with Angular, React, or Vue.
• Proven experience technically leading teams or projects, ideally in startup or agile environments.
• Deep knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience with SQL and working in a data lake environment.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture, containerization (Docker), and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).
• Proficient in working with database systems like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or MySQL.
• Comfortable working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Experience in the IoT or retail tech space, Advantage.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps culture, Advantage.
• Background in big data or analytics platforms, Advantage.
