The company is based in Tel Aviv (near a train line), works in a hybrid model of up to three days from home, and currently has around 140 employees—with rapid growth underway.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the backend infrastructure
• Developing complex business processes
• Take part in architectural decisions and discussions
• Solve complex problems, create object models, define APIs, build web services, and more
• Work directly with others (engineers and other internal stakeholders) to develop a solid understanding of the business application and requirements for which the application is being designed
• Python, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, NoSQL, SQL

Requirements:

• B.Sc. degree in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience
• 6+ years of backend development experience
• 2+ years of hands on node.js or Python experience
• Experience on event streaming technologies, kafka and scaling
• Experience in AWS, Docker, k8s
• Experience in Agile development, including CI/CD, and automated testing
• Experience with Relational and NoSQL databases, data workflow management
• High level SQL capabilities
• Experience with designing and building RESTful APIs
• Experience designing, scaling, debugging, and optimizing systems to make them fast and reliable
• Familiarity with distributed system concepts like parallel processing, consistency, replication, and scalability
• Previous exposure to large-scale systems design
• Ability to troubleshoot distributed systems
