Quality Assurance Manager

Location: Israel – Main: Afula / Nazareth | Secondary: Akko / Nahariya / Kiryat area

About the Role

We are looking for a QA Manager to lead the quality assurance efforts for our multidisciplinary product line. This role is a combination of leadership and hands-on execution (approximately 70% hands-on), covering manual and automated testing across hardware, software, mechanics, embedded systems, and cloud-based platforms.

You’ll establish the QA methodology, lead testing strategy, and work closely with R&D and Product teams to maintain and improve product quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute QA strategies for multi-disciplinary products (HW/SW/Mechanical).
• Design, build, and maintain automated and manual testing suites for all product components (embedded systems, frontend, backend, sensors, etc.).
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to ensure testing coverage meets business and technical requirements.
• Take part in all agile ceremonies (planning, grooming, daily standups, sprint reviews).
• Continuously improve QA documentation and processes (test plans, release notes, test coverage).
• Research and apply QA best practices and new testing tools/technologies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a QA Manager for multidisciplinary products (including cloud-connected systems).
• Experience in both manual and automation testing.
• Proficient in at least one automation tool: Selenium, Appium, or JUnit (experience with multiple tools – a plus).
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM methodology.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering – preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience in IoT and cloud-based solutions – major advantage.
• Experience with tools like JMeter, LoadRunner – a plus.
• Understanding of the retail industry – a plus.
