Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

For an innovative renewable energy company we are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to lead the design process of thermo-mechanical solutions and components.

The ideal candidate for this position is passionate about finding new solutions for complex challenges and has strong experience in making things work.

Main responsibilities:

• Design, Develop and implement mechanical components for rotating equipment
• Conduct flow, heat transfer and strength analyses
• Materials selection
• Provide support to production and ensure compliance with requirements
• Evaluate hardware and software during deployment to ensure smooth functioning 

Qualifications

• Academic degree in Mechanical Engineering / Aeronautic Engineer
• 8+ years of proven experience with mechanical design and development
• Experienced designing large assembly mechanism
• knowledge and understanding in turbines and compressors - an advantage!
• Experience in metal manufacturing technologies - machining, casting and printing
• Proficient with Solidworks - a must!
