DevOps Engineer

The Artificial Intelligence Institute at the Weizmann Institute of Science is seeking a DevOps Engineer for a role that includes:

• 
  Periodic monitoring of resource availability and utilization, such as: load statistics, queue management system performance, and resource call
• sOnboarding new users including
• :Training for beginners (usage guidelines, Linux and cluster usage, storage considerations and quotas
• )Training for advanced users (Python environments, development tools and methodologies for debugging - PyCharm, notebooks, wandb, tensorboard
• )Resource management (multi-GPUs, threads, memory
• )Self-training support through Wiki pages, user guides, training documentation, and mor
• eProviding solutions for issues in work environments, Linux, storage, scheduler, hardware, resources, and advanced experiments (multi-GPUs, multiple servers, and data arrays

Requirement

• s:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Electrical Engineering / Information Systems / other relevant field – mandato
• ryExperience with Python programming language – mandato
• ryKnowledge in High Performance Computing (HPC) technologies – mandato
• ryKnowledge of parallel processing architectures and scalability – mandato
• ryExperience with UNIX/Linux operating systems including script writing – mandato
• rySkills/experience in setting up user environments including installation of software packages for developers – mandato
• ryExperience with queue management environments (Slurm, LSF) and containers – advanta
• geAbility to analyze and solve complex problems and operational nee
