About The Role
This is an entry-level position, perfect for someone eager to start their career in game economics. You'll work closely with product, data, and monetization teams to design and refine in-game economies that keep players engaged and ensure a balanced experience.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the economy and pricing of virtual goods; balance between free content vs. paid currency in the game economy
- Design the economic systems to drive players to play and enhance their game experience.
- Create new features that improve long-term player satisfaction, and provide more monetization opportunities.
- Analyze player behavior and in-game data to identify patterns, pain points, and opportunities.
- Build and maintain models to simulate economic scenarios and evaluate new game features.
- Collaborate across teams to ensure economic systems align with both gameplay and business goals.
- B.Sc. in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or or an equivalent background.
- Excellent Excel knowledge - MUST
- Python/SQL skills (especially with data-focused libraries like pandas and numpy).
- Solid analytical thinking and attention to detail.
- A strong interest in games
