What we’re looking for:

We’re seeking a skilled Python Developer to design, implement, and maintain endpoint security agents for macOS, Windows, and all major browsers. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing platform-specific agents and browser extensions, as well as a solid understanding of security best practices for endpoint clients. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to create lightweight, secure, and efficient agents that are integral to our security offerings.

What you will do:

• Develop, deploy, and maintain secure endpoint agents for macOS, Windows, and browser extensions compatible with Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.
• Implement and optimize platform-specific features, ensuring seamless and secure functionality across macOS and Windows endpoints.
• Build browser extensions focused on security, integrating them with our platform for real-time threat detection and data protection.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing agents and extensions to improve performance, compatibility, and security.
• Collaborate with security engineers, QA, and product teams to align agent functionality with security goals.
• Implement and enforce security best practices, including data protection and secure communication with backend services.
• Optimize agents and extensions to minimize system resource usage while maximizing performance and reliability.
• Stay current with the latest developments in macOS, Windows, and browser security, incorporating relevant advancements into our agents and extensions.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in languages used for cross-platform agent and browser extension development
• Experience with Typescript or Python
• Experience with macOS and Windows Endpoint Security - Proficiency in macOS and Windows system APIs including experience with kernel and user-space security programming- Advantage
• Previous managerial experience- advantage!
• Browser Extension Development - Proven experience developing, deploying, and maintaining extensions for Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge- Advantage
• Performance Optimization - Ability to optimize agents and extensions to minimize memory and CPU usage while ensuring robust functionality
• Scalability and Cross-Platform Compatibility - Experience ensuring consistent agent functionality across various system configurations and platforms
• Security and Data Protection Expertise - Familiarity with authentication, encryption, and secure data storage techniques specific to endpoint agents
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
