Legal & Compliance Operations

Agora is an early-stage Fintech startup based in TLV, on a mission to revolutionize the way Real Estate firms and investors manage their capital. Our Investment Management software helps companies raise and preserve more capital by automating their back-office operations, increasing their investors' satisfaction, and providing them with advanced tools for better marketing efforts.

What are we looking for:

We are looking for a Legal & Compliance Operations to support our legal team in handling commercial and privacy matters. This role is ideal for a lawyer with at least 3 years of relevant experience in a law firm, eager to transition into an in-house legal position within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Commercial Contracts: Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial agreements, including MSAs, NDAs, DPAs, and vendor agreements.
• Support the Sales team in contract negotiations with clients, ensuring legal and business interests are aligned.
• Assist in the development of standard contract templates and playbooks.
• Privacy & Compliance: Support compliance efforts with GDPR, CCPA, and other global data protection regulations.
• Assist in privacy-related assessments, including DPIAs, vendor risk assessments, and privacy audits.
• Maintain and update internal policies related to data protection, security, and regulatory compliance.
• Regulatory & Corporate Matters: Monitor evolving laws and regulations affecting the company’s business, particularly in commercial and privacy law.
• Assist in corporate governance.
• Support internal teams with legal guidance on day-to-day business operations.
  
  

Requirements:

• Law degree and admission to practice law in a relevant jurisdiction.
• 3-4 years of experience in a law firm, with a focus on commercial contracts and data privacy.
• Strong understanding of contract law, data protection regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.), and general corporate law.
• Experience with SaaS, technology, or B2B commercial contracts is a plus.
• Detail-oriented, with excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across different teams.
• A proactive mindset, with a business-oriented and solution-driven approach.
