Led by experienced wholesalers, they have achieved $2M GMV through their MVP in the first month, onboarded Alibaba’s former CTO as an advisor & investor, and raised $550K in funding.

The company aims to leverage its momentum to create the technical founding team ahead of its anticipated Q4 2025 seed round, with the potential for an AI leader to grow into a CTO role before then.

Role Description

In this role, you will lead our AI development, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive our AI initiatives from concept to production. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in machine learning, a proven track record of managing data-driven projects, and experience building predictive models for e-commerce applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI models that predict sales, trends, and prices across e-commerce marketplaces.

• Develop recommendation algorithms that leverage user data to match customers with the most relevant products and suppliers.

• Collaborate with the CPO, tech leader and business stakeholders to ensure data availability, model integration, and project alignment with business goals.

• Conduct rigorous data analysis and validation to ensure the accuracy and reliability of AI predictions.

• Continuously improve AI models by incorporating user feedback and adapting to new data and marketplace trends.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in machine learning, with a focus on predictive modeling and personalization in e-commerce or a related industry.

• Strong proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and other ML frameworks.

• Experience working with large datasets and cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Proven leadership skills, with experience managing AI projects from concept through production.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
