Development Team Lead

We’re seeking an amazing engineering team leader for our research, development, and infrastructure efforts as we scale. This position will be instrumental in aligning R&D initiatives with our strategic goals, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring our platform’s security, performance, and scalability.

Work closely with the CTO and product leadership to ensure alignment between R&D priorities and product vision.

Partner with data scientists to integrate AI models and features as needed while ensuring quality and performance.

Collaborate with customer success and marketing teams to incorporate customer feedback and drive platform enhancements.

Requirements

Experience:

6+ years in R&D or engineering roles, and at least 4 years in a management role.

Proven experience leading product development teams, with a strong grasp of end-to-end development, security practices, and infrastructure management.

Demonstrated ability to balance hands-on technical involvement with strategic planning in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Technical Expertise:

Proficiency in Node.js and React, with a strong understanding of full-stack development and best practices.

Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure (Azure/AWS/GC), DevOps, and best practices for securing cloud-based platforms.

Proficient in modern software development practices, including code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.

Familiarity with secure coding practices, data protection, and industry compliance standards.

Familiarity with WordPress/PHP is beneficial.

Leadership & Communication:

Ability to break down business goals into actionable R&D roadmaps.

Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Experience managing budgets, resource allocation, and setting measurable goals to ensure department and company success.
