About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Officer and Regulatory Expert to lead the legal, regulatory, and compliance aspects of our operations.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of compliance and legal advisory, ensuring adherence to financial regulations and industry standards. While our in-house General Counsel oversees the company’s broader legal strategy, this position focuses on compliance leadership and regulatory affairs. The ideal candidate will work in close partnership with the General Counsel, contributing to risk management, policy development, and regulatory engagement.

Key ResponsibilitiesCompliance & Regulatory Management

• Lead and manage the compliance team, ensuring adherence to all regulatory and internal compliance requirements.
• Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures in line with industry regulations.
• Design and conduct compliance training programs for employees and service providers.
• Stay informed about regulatory changes, assess their impact, and update company policies accordingly.

Legal Advisory

• Provide legal guidance on compliance matters, particularly in financial regulations and risk management.
• Assist in reviewing contracts, agreements, and other legal documents in coordination with the General Counsel.
• Ensure alignment between compliance frameworks and the company's overall legal strategy.

Risk Management & Audits

• Identify, assess, and mitigate legal and compliance risks while implementing preventive measures.
• Conduct periodic internal and external audits to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Respond to compliance inquiries and audits from regulatory authorities.

Regulatory Affairs & Company Representation

• Represent the company before regulatory authorities, courts, and other legal bodies.
• Maintain strong relationships with financial institutions, banks, and compliance departments in Israel and internationally.
• Collaborate with the Risk Manager and other internal departments to strengthen compliance policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Law degree and active Israeli Bar Association license – mandatory.
• 5+ years of experience in legal advisory, preferably within the fintech or financial sector – mandatory.
• Experience as a Compliance Officer – mandatory.
• Experience as a General Counsel – significant advantage.
• Proven experience in compliance management within an organization – mandatory.
• In-depth knowledge of AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and CTF (Counter-Terrorism Financing) regulations – mandatory.
• Experience in drafting and implementing compliance policies and procedures.
• Strong ability to liaise with regulatory bodies and manage audit responses.
• Deep understanding of financial regulations and corporate law – significant advantage.
• Team leadership experience – mandatory.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong command of English (spoken and written) – mandatory.

על התפקיד:

התפקיד כולל אחריות כוללת על ההיבטים המשפטיים הרגולטוריים והציותיים של פעילות החברה.

תחומי אחריות עיקריים:

ניהול הציות: 

• ניהול צוות האנליסטים של מח׳ הציות.
• אחריות על הבטחת עמידה בדרישות רגולציה וציות פנימי, פיתוח והטמעת מדיניות ונהלים בחברה.
• פיתוח והעברת תוכניות הכשרה לעובדים ונותני שרותים.

ייעוץ משפטי: מתן ייעוץ משפטי מקיף בתחומי פעילות החברה, כולל סקירת חוזים, הסכמים ונושאים משפטיים שוטפים. העבודה היא בצמוד ליועמ״ש של החברה.

ניהול סיכונים: זיהוי, הערכה וניהול סיכונים משפטיים והצעת פתרונות מונעים.

•  ביצוע בקרות ובדיקות תקופתיות פנים וחוץ אירגוניות.

ייצוג החברה: ייצוג החברה מול רשויות, בתי משפט וגופים רגולטוריים.

• קשר שוטף עם מחלקות ציות של גופים פיננסיים ובנקים בארץ ובחו"ל.
• פיתוח והעברת תוכניות הכשרה לעובדים ונותני שרותים.

עבודה שוטפת מול מנהל הסיכונים ומחלקות נוספות בארגון.

עדכון וחדשנות: מעקב אחר שינויים בחקיקה ובתקנות, זיהוי וניהול סיכוני הציות והתאמת נהלי החברה בהתאם.

דרישות התפקיד

תואר במשפטים ורישיון עריכת דין ישראלי – חובה.

ניסיון של 5+ שנים בייעוץ משפטי, עדיפות לניסיון בתחום הפינטק/פיננסים - חובה.

ניסיון כ.קצין ציות – חובה.

ניסיון כיועמ״ש - יתרון משמעותי.

ניסיון מוכח בתחום הציות בארגון - חובה.

ניסיון מוכח בתחום איסור הלבנת הון ומימון טרור - חובה.

ניסיון בכתיבה ובהטמעה של מדיניות ונהלי ציות בהתאם לדרישות החוק והרגולציה.
