Responsibilities

We're looking for an experienced Backend Engineer to join our Engineering team. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Software Engineering you'll be responsible for:

• Lead and drive innovative projects within the AI domain, leveraging fabric capabilities to enhance and accelerate our products offerings.
• Identify opportunities to address complex technical challenges and improve existing systems.
• Own the end-to-end delivery of projects, from proof-of-concept (POC) to full-scale production deployment.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continually enhance our technology stack and processes.
• Collaborate within the team, sharing insights and mentoring colleagues to foster growth across the group.
  
  

What We’re Looking For (Minimum Qualifications)

• 5+ years of backend development experience with Python and/or Java.
• A B.Sc. in Computer Science or a related field.
• Expertise in microservices architectures, with hands-on experience using AWS and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in languages and frameworks used in AI development (e.g., Python, Hugging Face, LangChain, OpenAI, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• A proven ability to work independently in fast-paced, dynamic environments and tackle complex technical challenges with creative, effective solutions.
  
  

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• M.S. in Computer Science, Statistics, Machine Learning, or a related field, OR equivalent practical experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading machine learning and data science projects.
