Silicom is seeking an experienced Procurement Buyer for strategic management of mechanical and electromechanical suppliers.

Job Description:

Procurement and strategic management of mechanical and electromechanical suppliers
Commercial and logistical management with Far East subcontractors
Resolving technical and procurement-related issues as needed
Monitoring and managing inventory of strategic components

Requirements:

Proven experience as a procurement buyer
Strong technical knowledge – a must
Familiarity with manufacturing processes and cost structures
High-level proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
Experience working in a computerized environment, including proficiency in Excel and MRP systems
Experience in electronics procurement and subcontractor management – an advantage
Relevant academic background
