Hardware Engineer

Hardware Engineer Description:

Proven experience of at least 10 years of experience as an engineer in a hardware development team

Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (BSc)

Experience from a defense company or organization - an advantage

Writing test documents for a system that combines hardware and software Establishing a test environment, and working with measurement devices such as: Power Meter, Scope, Signal Generator Running manual and automatic tests Experience in developing cards Layout and PCB design

Full command of technical English

Experience in simulation tools SPICE, LABVIEW, MATLAB

Experience working with Micro-Controllers

Experience with complex multidisciplinary systems

Experience working with military and industrial standards

Experience in designing to meet military trials

Experience working with SolidWorks for mechanical design

Requirements/Expectations/Job content:

Ability to work independently and in a team.

Ongoing work with the hardware development team and the software and service development teams throughout the product life cycle:

-Collecting requirements for developing and improving existing products/new development

-Selecting replacement components to address the Obsolete problem

-Performing tests on existing cards, laboratory tests (validation) for a prototype card

-Supporting production processes and providing solutions to problems in the production processes

-Developing and testing the integrity of electronic cards

-Designing electronic cards from scratch in the Orcad environment, including editing and directing production up to serial production

-Writing an ATP test document

-Self-study and reading technical literature -Actually implementing the transfer from development to production

The work includes 10%-20% field work
