The Role: .NET Backend Software Engineer

We're looking for a talented and experienced .NET Backend Software Engineer to join Afimilk's dynamic team to play a key role in migrating and modernizing their core systems, transitioning from legacy .NET Framework to cutting-edge .NET Core and cloud-based solutions. This is an opportunity to shape the future of agricultural technology by designing and developing robust, scalable backend systems.

What You'll Do:

• Modernize and Migrate: Rewrite critical business logic from legacy systems to a new, cloud-ready .NET Core architecture.
• Build the Future: Design and develop innovative features from the ground up, contributing to the evolution of Afimilk's platform.
• Cloud Development: Architect and implement cloud-based applications and comprehensive data solutions for collection, transformation, and monitoring.
• API Mastery: Design and develop high-performance gRPC and REST APIs.
• Architectural Influence: Participate in design and architecture meetings, contributing to strategic decisions.
• Problem Solving: Tackle complex technical challenges with strong debugging and analytical skills.

What You Bring:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in server-side .NET development.
• API Expertise: Proven experience designing and developing gRPC or REST APIs.
• Core Skills: Strong object-oriented design and coding skills, proficiency in OOP and excellent problem-solving abilities.

What makes you stand out:

• .NET Core Advantage: 3+ years of experience with .NET Core is a significant plus.
• Asynchronous Programming: Strong understanding of asynchronous programming patterns (a plus).
• Cloud Proficiency: Experience with Azure is a valuable asset.
• Database Skills: Experience with SQL Server schema design is advantageous.
