General description:
Responsible for developing and managing company-wide procurement strategies (local and global) to ensure efficient, high-quality, and cost-effective supply of products and services that support the company's operations. Inventory preparation and adherence to delivery times.
The role includes negotiating, developing relationships with international and local suppliers, leading cost optimization processes, and performing market and data analysis for continuous supply chain improvement.
Responsibility:
1. Development of purchasing strategies in the company:
- Building procurement plans that are coordinated with the company's strategic goals.
- Identifying market trends and locating potential suppliers.
2. Supplier Management:
- Developing, maintaining, and preserving working relationships with local and international suppliers.
- Managing supplier performance evaluation and improvement processes.
- Locating alternative suppliers to reduce risks in the supply chain.
- Creating and managing agreements with subcontractors or service providers.
3. Negotiation and agreement management:
- Negotiation with suppliers to achieve optimal conditions (prices, payment terms, framework transactions, etc.)
- Drafting agreements and contracts, including legal and business risk management.
4. Planning and control:
- Supervise the procurement budget and compliance with cost targets.
- Monitoring inventory availability and delivery times while maintaining quality and delivery dates.
5. Cross organization coordination:
- Ongoing work with operations, production, finance, and logistics departments to support business needs.
- Leading projects to improve procurement processes. Focusing on direct material procurement.
- Managing employees in the department.
6. Reports and Data Analysis:
- Analyzing procurement performance, cost, and efficiency reports and presenting findings to organizational stakeholders upon request.
- Using data to improve processes and make strategic decisions.
Job requirements:
- Relevant academic education (business administration, logistics, law, etc.) - mandatory
- Five years of experience in the field of procurement in a managerial position - mandatory
- Budget planning experience and ability to lead a budget plan to implementation - mandatory
- Computer applications: OFFICE and ERP systems such as SAP or equivalent- mandatory
- Experience in an industrial company- mandatory
- High level of English proficiency - (speaking / reading / writing) - mandatory
- Experience working with international suppliers and import procedures - mandatory
- Good interpersonal communication, responsibility, and wide perspective.
- Good understanding of technical areas- advantage.
