🌍 Product Manager – GIS Solutions

Are you passionate about geospatial technology and shaping products that make a real-world impact? We’re looking for an experienced Product Manager with a strong background in GIS, who’s skilled in both Esri and open-source GIS technologies, and who thrives at the intersection of product strategy, technical system design, and customer success.

What You’ll Do:

• Own the product vision and roadmap for GIS platforms and tools, aligning with market needs and business goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, UX/UI, data science, and sales to deliver exceptional geospatial solutions.
• Lead product development cycles from concept to launch, ensuring high-quality, user-centric outcomes.
• Engage with clients to understand their needs, gather feedback, and foster long-term relationships.
• Author and maintain detailed system design documents, technical requirements, and product specifications.
• Bridge the gap between Esri-based solutions (e.g., ArcGIS) and open-source tools (e.g., QGIS, PostGIS, GeoServer, Mapbox, etc.).

You Bring:

• 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager or similar role in the GIS or geospatial tech space.
• Strong proficiency with Esri technologies (ArcGIS Online, Enterprise, Pro, etc.) and open-source GIS platforms.
• Experience writing system design documents, technical requirements, and managing product lifecycles.
• Proven success in customer management and translating user feedback into actionable product features.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geographic Information Systems, Computer Science, Geography, Engineering, or a related field.
• Ability to balance technical detail with big-picture thinking.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with web mapping APIs and spatial databases.
• Background in urban planning, environmental science, logistics, or another geospatially driven field.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
