One of our clients, an early-stage cybersecurity startup backed by $5.5M in seed funding, is looking for an experienced Backend Developer to join their core team in Tel Aviv.

They’re building an innovative, secure browsing solution that works seamlessly across all browsers, apps, and devices—without installations or disruptions to the user experience. Their product, already in alpha and used by major partners in finance and defense, combines dynamic content inspection with a cloud-native, agentless architecture.

Tech stack includes: Python, MongoDB, BigQuery, GCP, serverless, Docker, Kubernetes (advantage)

You’ll take full ownership of backend architecture, development, deployment, and monitoring.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs.

• Work independently to architect solutions that align with business goals and technical requirements.

• Build and optimize database schemas, queries, and performance.

• Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance through robust coding and testing.

• Implement security best practices to protect sensitive data and systems.

• Monitor and troubleshoot server performance and resolve production issues efficiently.

• Manage CI/CD pipelines and ensure smooth deployments.

Requierments:

• Proven experience (5+ years) as a backend developer with the ability to work independently.

• Expertise in backend languages (Python)

• Strong understanding of database design and management (MongoDB + GCP BigQuery).

• Experience with RESTful APIs.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Google Cloud) and serverless architecture (lambda).

• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes-Advantage).

• Proficiency in managing CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.

• Solid understanding of system architecture, microservices, and distributed systems.
