Presales Team Lead

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Pre-Sales Team Lead to lead our pre/post-sales technical team and play a key role in shaping customer engagements across the intelligence and homeland security sectors.

This role combines hands-on technical leadership with customer-facing activities, driving technical excellence and ensuring that our solutions meet complex operational needs. The ideal candidate will bring both strong technical acumen and team management experience, along with the ability to work across departments including Sales, Product, R&D, and Project Management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of pre/post-sales engineers, guiding their technical and professional growth.
• Own the pre-sales process from initial engagement to technical close, ensuring consistency and excellence across all engagements.
• Collaborate with Sales leadership to align team efforts with business goals and pipeline development.
• Define and manage workflows, tools, and best practices for presales engagements, demos, proof of concepts (POCs), and solution presentations.
• Provide hands-on support for strategic customer activities, including technical meetings, POCs, training sessions, and product evaluations.
• Represent customer needs internally, influencing product development and roadmap with real-world feedback.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and professional delivery throughout the sales cycle.
• Contribute to presales enablement materials, webinars, and conference participation.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in technical presales or solutions engineering, with at least 1 year in a team leadership or management role.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-centric mindset.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage cross-functional collaboration.
• Hands-on experience with telecom, IP networking, cellular technologies, and/or intelligence systems – a strong advantage.
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
• Strong English proficiency (written and spoken); Spanish or other languages – an advantage.
• Willingness to travel internationally (~30%).
• Foreign passport – an advantage.
• Experience in working with law enforcement, intelligence, or homeland security customers – a strong advantage.
