Vice President of Software Engineering

A leading and innovative company in the field of cyber threat intelligence is looking for an experienced VP Engineering

The role includes managing and building engineering teams, overseeing architecture and product development, recruiting engineers, defining development processes and technology standards, and driving a tech strategy that supports the company's growth and business goals.

Responsibilities:

• Lead engineering teams and take full responsibility for product development.
• Develop and implement a technology strategy aligned with the company's vision.
• Lead and optimize development processes, including Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Be responsible for making decisions on architecture, infrastructure, and development tools.
• Recruit, develop, and retain top engineering talent.
• Collaborate closely with senior management and participate in strategic decisions.
• Work closely with product and operations teams to create organizational synergy.
• Manage technology budgets and resources while prioritizing projects.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of senior development experience, with at least 3 years as VP Engineering/R&D or CTO, preferably in startups.
• Proven experience managing multiple development teams in the organisation.
• Strong experience leading the development of complex SaaS applications.
• Deep understanding of technology architecture, cloud infrastructure, databases, security, and DevOps.
• Strong decision-making skills and the ability to drive product architecture.
• Ability to lead and optimize development processes.
• Experience working in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines
