We’re on the lookout for a dynamic and experienced Production and Logistics Manager to join our team and drive efficient, scalable production and logistics operations.

Job Summary

The Production and Logistics Manager will oversee end-to-end logistics, including inventory, warehousing, shipping, and VAT compliance, while managing production schedules, supplier relationships, and BOM (Bill of Materials). This role is crucial for ensuring smooth and cost-effective operations, meeting production goals, and delivering our products efficiently to customers worldwide. A key aspect of this role is constantly working on cost reduction across all areas of production and logistics.

Key Responsibilities

Logistics:

• Inventory/Warehouse Management: Oversee inventory control and maintain stock accuracy.
• Forwarding & Shipping Coordination: Manage global and local shipping, liaise with freight forwarders, and resolve logistics issues efficiently.
• Local Shipping Management: Ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of orders within domestic markets.
• VAT and Tax Compliance: Coordinate with the finance team to handle VAT/tax requirements for international and local shipments.
• E-commerce Integration (Shopify): Ensure seamless coordination between production and Shopify, monitor order fulfillment, and streamline logistics processes for Woojer’s online store.

Production:

• Production Planning and Control: Monitor production schedules, oversee the status of production orders, and ensure on-time delivery.
• Supplier and Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate terms, and monitor supplier performance.
• Order Management: Coordinate purchase orders, track production lead times, and communicate with suppliers to meet demand.
• Past Project Documentation: Maintain records of past projects to ensure lessons learned are applied to future production runs.
• Payments Coordination: Collaborate with the finance team to manage timely payments to suppliers and logistics partners.

Additional Key Responsibilities:

• Bill of Materials (BOM) Management: Oversee and maintain accurate BOMs for all products to ensure correct assembly and production processes.
• Cost Reduction Initiatives: Proactively identify and implement strategies to reduce costs across production and logistics without compromising quality or efficiency.
• Continuous Improvement: Implement best practices and continuous improvement methodologies to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the design, R&D, and finance teams to align production and logistics with company goals and new product launches.
• Quality Control: Ensure production and logistics processes meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in production and logistics management, preferably in consumer electronics or a similar industry.
• Strong experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and e-commerce platforms like Shopify.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
• Experience with managing Bills of Materials (BOM) and production planning.
• Understanding of certification requirements and management.
• High-level proficiency in English is a must, both written and spoken.
