Software Engineer

A cybersecurity startup is developing a Generative AI-based platform leveraging advanced LLM technology for the automatic remediation of security vulnerabilities in open-source code.

According to the company, it resolves over 95% of critical vulnerabilities across the five most popular programming languages without requiring developer intervention.

The company recently raised a $7.5 million seed round led by a top-tier venture capital firm. Based in Tel Aviv near a train station, it operates in a hybrid model with one work-from-home day and has a team of 20 employees.

Founded by three experienced entrepreneurs with deep cybersecurity expertise from elite technological units and leading industry companies.

The role -

• Working as part of a team to develop an automated vulnerability patching system based on LLMs
• Coding primarily in Python with some Go
• Researching to improve vulnerability fixes and optimize system efficiency
• Working in an AWS environment
• Partial involvement in security research (identifying fix-related issues and improving the system, not deep vulnerability research)

Requirements-

• 5 years of experience with Backend Engineering in a high-level programming language (e.g. Python, Golang)
• Experience with security research (e.g. vulnerabilities, exploits)
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD)
• Experience with micro-services-based architecture
• Startup mentality: high pace, dynamically changing tasks and priorities.
