DevOps Manager

A global Israeli cybersecurity company develops security solutions for Cloud, Mobile, Web, Endpoint, and more. The company is publicly traded, with a strong and stable stock over the years. Role: Leading a team of six DevOps engineers (in Israel and Europe), reporting to the Group Manager.

Tech Stack: AWS, Linux, Terraform, Terragrunt, GitHub Actions, Python, Ansible, Kubernetes, and more, working on a high-scale, microservices-based production environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience managing production environments at high scale in public cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
• Proven expertise in agile development practices and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• 2 years of team leadership experience.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
• 5 years of experience in a DevOps role, with a solid background in managing infrastructure, CI/CD practices, and automation.
• Proficiency in designing solutions for complex, high-scale production environments, preferably within highly available SaaS companies. In-depth knowledge of microservices architecture is essential.
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Terragrunt, and Pulumi.
• Familiarity with Linux-based systems and shell scripting.
• Knowledge of message queues
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools, such as Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and Datadog.
• Extensive experience with cloud infrastructure, especially AWS services like API Gateway, ECS, and MSK.
• Proficiency in at least two scripting languages, such as Python, Ruby, Go, or Groovy.
• Hands-on Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible.
• Strong understanding of network topologies and protocols, including DNS, HTTP(S), CDN, and Proxies.
