Who are you?

We are seeking a Data Scientist who specializes in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Semantic Retrieval. You will build and deploy intricate models that understand and generate human language, focusing particularly on research domains like embeddings, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and generative models.

What’s this job about?

• Leading the development of NLP models with a specific concentration on semantic analysis and understanding, leveraging techniques such as contextual embeddings and RAG.
• Enhancing the generative capabilities of models to produce rich, semantically coherent content.
• Planning and executing research initiatives that explore new methodologies in embeddings, RAG, and generative NLP.
• Implementing models that effectively integrate with existing systems to improve semantic retrieval processes.
• Establishing robust evaluation metrics and methodologies to gauge the effectiveness of NLP models in semantic understanding and content generation.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Data Scientist specializing in NLP, with a conspicuous focus on semantic retrieval and generative models - a must.
• Expert proficiency in Python and related libraries (such as pandas, numpy, scikit-learn) for effective data processing and model building - a must.
• Demonstrated capability in employing modern NLP technologies and libraries (like Hugging Face, PyTorch, TensorFlow) - a must.
• Thorough experience in the development, fine-tuning, and deployment of models focused on NLP tasks - a must.
• An academic degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field - a must.
• Security clearance - an advantage.
