In-Person Teacher for an English Language School in the Krayot

Haifa’s largest and most successful English language school is seeking several new teachers to deliver in-person lessons around the greater Haifa area.

Speak Up English is a teacher-run, family-owned small business founded in 2013. Speak Up provides private and small-group English lessons to over 500 children ages 4-16 each week.

In our classrooms, students receive high-quality, customized lessons that teach practical, spoken English and a love for the language through games and play. We are looking for dynamic English speakers who live in Haifa and have experience working with kids.

In-Person Teacher - Responsibilities

Lesson planning, customized to the individual needs of your students.

Traveling to students' homes to deliver fun, focused lessons.

Good record keeping and progress tracking.

In-Person Teacher - Requirements

Fluent English, a must

Experience working with children, a must

Able to work in-person in the Krayot, a must

Legal right to work in Israel, a must

Willing to commit to one year minimum, a must

Conversational Hebrew, a plus

In-Person Teacher - Compensation

The schedule is flexible, ranging from 2-4 work days and between 5-12 weekly hours.

90-100 NIS an hour.
