Risk Management in Model Validation and Analytics

We are looking for an experienced professional to lead model risk monitoring and management. This role requires the ability to manage a team of analysts, data scientists, and statisticians while driving data-driven analyses and implementing AI and ML-based solutions. The position involves close collaboration with business units, regulatory bodies, and IT departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identifying, monitoring, and assessing models.
• Developing policies and procedures for model risk management, validation, and risk mitigation.
• Collaborating with model development teams and analytics teams.
• Developing decision-support tools and systems.
• Conducting complex analyses on the division’s activities.
• Preparing monitoring reports and overseeing the performance of statistical, compliance, and expert models.
• Tracking the resolution of model validation findings.
• Leading the model governance forum, preparing reports, and presenting insights from model monitoring and validation.
• Preparing periodic reports for senior management and the board of directors.
• Conducting cross-organizational analyses and deriving insights.
• Developing and executing work plans.
• Managing and motivating a team of employees.
• Engaging with various internal and external stakeholders, including consultants.
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
