Automation QA Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Automation QA Engineer to take a central role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products. As FXEmpire continues to grow, our services are becoming increasingly significant, handling large volumes of financial data that must be validated for accuracy and correctness.

You will work closely with the development team, QA team, and product team, ensuring seamless collaboration and a high standard of quality assurance. This role requires not only strong test automation skills but also deep knowledge of web technologies and best practices in modern web testing.

Responsibilities

• Expand and maintain our existing Cypress test automation framework
• Develop and implement E2E, integration, and API tests to ensure system reliability
• Ensure financial data accuracy by validating complex datasets
• Identify and close test coverage gaps, improving overall product quality
• Work closely with developers, QA, and product teams to integrate testing early in the development cycle
• Research and introduce new automation tools and technologies to enhance efficiency
• Ensure automation is fully integrated into our CI/CD pipeline and supports continuous deployment
• Analyze test results, debug failures, and ensure stability
• Advocate for test automation best practices to maintain high-quality web applications

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in automation testing (preferably with Cypress)
• Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST APIs, browser dev tools)
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript for writing automation scripts
• Experience with automated API testing (Postman, SuperTest, or similar tools)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar)
• Ability to analyze financial data-related test cases and ensure data accuracy
• Experience working in Agile environments with cross-functional teams
• Strong English communication skills – ability to work in an international environment
• Experience with other automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Selenium) – an advantage
• Knowledge of performance or security testing – a plus
