Counter Terrorism Researcher

As a Counter - Terrorism researcher at ActiveFence, you will analyze large volumes of both qualitative and quantitative data to derive valuable insights on topics such as online threat indicators, content distribution methods, motivations, and emerging trends.

Responsibilities:

• Create intelligence reports for the company’s clients.
• Serve as the “final stamp” of approval for all deliverables from your desk.
• Stay up to date on global trends and developments in the CT field.
• Monitor and analyze malicious actors' latest tactics and methods across social networks, messaging apps, and online forums.

Requirements

• Exceptional research and writing skills – ability to analyze data and craft compelling narratives.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in research or intelligence analysis within the CT field.
• Full proficiency in Persian.
• Highly motivated and naturally curious, with a strong drive for uncovering insights.
• Meticulous attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong organizational skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Extensive experience in WEBINT / OSINT.
• Background in consulting, investigative journalism, or global enterprises.
• Political science background and broad geopolitical understanding – a plus.
