Search Engine Optimization Team Lead

As our SEO Lead, you'll report directly to the Director of Marketing, manage team members remotely, and elevate our organic strategy and business growth efforts. As a vital part of our marketing department, you will collaborate closely with global Product, Content, and other marketing teams and own specific website areas, ensuring they are optimized to drive high value traffic through search and AI engines.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute global SEO growth strategies, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives in a performance-oriented and regulated environment.
• Manage an SEO team member remotely, promoting growth and professional development.
• Conduct audits and keyword research, resolve issues, and collaborate cross functionally to optimize technical and content architecture.
• Track, analyze and report SEO performance metrics to management and stakeholders, adjusting SEO strategies based on actionable insights and company KPIs.
• Stay updated and adopt relevant SEO trends, algorithm changes, and industry best practices.

Requirements:

• You are a creative SEO manager with 5+ years of proven experience, preferably in global B2C/B2SMB companies (preferably in DE/EU), with at least 2 years managing direct reports and generating growth.
• Strong expertise in content strategy, keyword research, and technical SEO.
• Exceptional analytical skills with proficiency in tools such as GA4, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and others, with the ability to communicate results clearly in alignment with the company's KPIs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating strong presentation skills and business orientation.
• Experience working closely and effectively with diverse teams both remotely and physically.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of German and additional languages is a plus.
